Tell us what the wall is doing.
No obligation. We ring you back to talk through the job.
Rising Damp Ipswich assesses and treats damp in Riverview, and the wall is metered before we quote.

Riverview sits close to the river with old industrial ground behind it, with older cottages among later infill. A flood history and heavy soil, where a house has both, make it hard to assess from a photograph. A house here needs the ground outside measured before anything indoors is believed.
Older cottages and interwar housing with later infill. Where a house has been rendered, the render can conceal a lot: it hides the brick, hides the damp course if there is one, and holds moisture against the wall while looking perfectly sound from the street.
Where industrial fill has been used to level a block, it can be more permeable than the soil around it, which turns the fill into a reservoir sitting against a footing. That is a drainage problem with a damp symptom, and it is not solved by injecting the wall.
| Height range, 250 m around the centre | about 19–31 m above sea level |
|---|---|
| Height at the centre | about 25 m |
| Brisbane River | about 0.9 km from the centre (straight line) |
| Ipswich CBD | about 8.9 km (straight line) |
| Named roads | Riverview Road, Moggill Ferry Road, Endeavour Road and Brisbane Road |
| Named parks | Rod and Denice Park, Maggie Hodges Park and Small Family Park |
The Brisbane River is 0.9 km from Riverview's centre, so check the address against Ipswich City Council's flood information. Fill used to level a block can hold water against a footing, so ask what the block was built on as well as what the wall is made of.
The six signs are on the home page, the order of the work on how it works, prices on the cost page and the measuring method on the about page. Render that hides the wall may have to come off before the wall can be read. Where fill holds water against a footing, drainage is the job, not injection.
We work across the Ipswich local government area and the western corridor.
